Dave Portnoy is not bothered by the conversation surrounding his relationship with girlfriend Camryn D’Aloia.
The 49-year-old Barstool Sports founder opened up about dating Camryn, 27, while speaking to Us Weekly in a new interview tied to promoting his debut memoir, Cancel Me If You Can.
“The age thing is never — people always say it to me — it’s never been a factor,” Dave told the outlet. “I don’t think about it at all when I’m with her.”
Dave and Camryn have a 22-year age gap, but he said the only thing that really matters to him is that the relationship works for them.
“In terms of age gaps, we’re starting to look more normal compared to a lot of the age gaps out there,” he continued. “I don’t think about it. We’re both happy, and that’s all I really care about.”
Dave also said their day-to-day dynamic is pretty low-key.
“We both love horse racing. We both like the same things,” he shared. “We go out to dinner early. She’s not looking to party or anything.”
During the interview, Dave referenced Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson‘s much-discussed relationship as an example of a more headline-making age gap (48 years).
Dave confirmed he was dating Camryn during an April 2025 appearance on the “Drop a Pin” podcast, referring to “Cam” as “someone I’m dating.” Fans previously linked the two after they were spotted together at a Boston Celtics and Miami Heat game in 2024.
