Disney bringing back The Mickey Mouse Club once again!

It was just announced this week that Disney+ has ordered a pilot for a reboot of the popular variety show, according to Deadline.

If you recall, The Mickey Mouse Club once starred the likes of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Keri Russell, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, and more.

The new reboot hails from Fulwell Entertainment, the production company behind Hulu’s The Kardashians, and the pilot will feature a roster of up-and-coming young Disney talent.

Camp Rock 3‘s Hudson Stone, who recently released his debut single, Casey Trotter, and Brooklynn Pitts are set to star, alongside Elio voice actor Yonas Kibreab, and Young Rock‘s Erianthe Akaata, along with Scarlett London Diviney, Michael Cash, Varonica Mitchell, Kauani, Scarlett Grace Petty, and Carter Barnes.

The reboot will serve as a “showcase for today’s most talented young performers, where music, innovation, and self-expression take center stage.”

In case you didn’t know, The Mickey Mouse Club was first created by Walt Disney himself, with the first TV series debuting in 1955 and running through 1959. It then had a revival from 1977 to 1979, and once again from 1989 to 1996, featuring many stars you know today.

In 2017, Disney brought it back again as Club Mickey Mouse, acting more like a reality show than a variety program, running for seven weeks. XO, Kitty star Regan Aliyah was in that cast.
