The Apartment Job: Delightful and kooky, just what I needed to alleviate my summer blues. Intense! Ji Sung is wonderful, just as I’d hoped, and I am already digging his partnership with Ha Yoon-kyung and her weird, sort of uncontrollable self. The entire show is full of strange characters though, so it’s really hard to choose who I want to see more of. A promising start to the drama, and I hope the Park “family” manages to pull off the heist and make a clean getaway.

My Royal Nemesis: I’m enjoying this one so much! I’m halfway through already and the shenanigans are completely ridiculous and fun. While I’m loving the leads — and Heo Nam-joon especially (nothing like the smitten chaebol with a supercar!) — it’s Jang Seung-jo who is actually blowing my mind here. Did we know he was gonna be such a good villain?! Every time he has a scene I’m completely shocked at how good he is at being totally menacing and downright creepy. In the Joseon scenes, especially. I’m so used to him playing a rakish or puck-like character that I just can’t get used to him as a baddie and I LOVE a good casting switch-up.
