
Taylor Zakhar Perez has joined the cast of Netflix’s upcoming 13 Going on 30 reboot, JustJared.com can exclusively reveal.
The Red, White & Royal Blue actor is the latest addition to the highly anticipated film, joining previously announced stars Jessica Alba, Logan Lerman, Emily Bader, and Adeline Rudolph.
Production on the reboot began in Los Angeles last month.
The original 13 Going on 30, released in 2004, starred Jennifer Garner as Jenna Rink, a 13-year-old girl who magically wakes up as her 30-year-old self and must navigate adulthood while rediscovering who she really is. Mark Ruffalo co-starred as Matt Flamhaff in the beloved romantic comedy, which has remained a fan favorite for more than two decades.
Jennifer has returned as an executive producer on the reboot.
Brett Haley is directing the film from a script by Hannah Marks. He recently nominated was nominated for an Emmy for directing Netflix’s hit film People We Meet on Vacation, adding even more excitement to the upcoming project.
Netflix has not revealed plot details for the reboot, and the characters played by Taylor, Jessica, Logan, Emily and Adeline remain under wraps.
