Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones are officially married!
The 26-year-old Indiana Pacers point guard and former Iowa State cheerleader are planning their big wedding on August 1, but they got their marriage license and went ahead and tied the knot on Tuesday (July 21) at the Indianapolis Marriage License Office.
Jade posted photos from the day on her Instagram with the caption, “It’s (courthouse) official.”
She was wearing a white dress and carrying a bouquet of white flowers as she and her new husband stood among their many witnesses.
Tyrese and Jade first started dating in 2019 when they were both at Iowa State, according to TMZ. Jade was on the Cyclones cheer squad and Tyrese played for the basketball team.
The news comes after a difficult time for the couple as they faced a devastating tragedy last month when one of their friends, Makenzi Kern, passed away from “health complications” during Jade‘s bachelorette trip in St. Barts. Both Jade and Tyrese posted social media tributes to her in June.
