
Buddy Guy is celebrating his 90th birthday with a star-studded celebration.
The 89-year-old Blues legend will be honored with Buddy’s Got the Blues: A 90th Birthday Concert Celebration, which will take place on October 1 at Radio City Music Hall.
“Can’t wait to celebrate 90 years of living, loving, and playing the Blues with all my friends. We’ll make it a night not just for me, but for the folks who taught us, the friends we’ve played with, and the ones coming up behind us,” Buddy Guy said in a statement, per Variety.

He and the Sinners stars performed the original song “I Lied to You” during the Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The performance recreated the musical energy as seen in the movie, featuring several artists from different generations: musicians including Alice Smith, Brittany Howard, Shaboozey, and legendary blues guitarist all joined the performance.
