James Gunn has revealed a fun tidbit about the upcoming Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow!
The 59-year-old writer/director of the DC film responded to a couple of posts on Threads after thanking Rick Devens for giving him a shoutout on Big Brother.
On Saturday morning (July 18), James shared a video of Rick casting his vote for this week’s first eviction of the season, where he shouted out James and others.
When a fan asked if Rick could get a cameo in Man of Tomorrow, James shared that he actually was supposed to do it, but had to back out due to being on the reality competition!
“No because he’s on Big Brother! Otherwise he would have been,” James replied to a fan.
Another person asked if he really does know Rick, or if he was “just kissing up” to James.
“We do. He was gonna appear in the background of MoT but he had to cancel (his awesome wife and kids still came). He couldn’t tell me why but told me I’d be excited. Obviously I was!” the director responded.
Rick is one of three reality legends who joined Big Brother this season. He is, of course, best known for competing on seasons 38 and 50 of Survivor.
