Lena Dunham appears to be having some fun with the rumors surrounding her supposed raunchy toast given at Taylor Swift‘s wedding rehearsal dinner.
The 40-year-old Girls creator reportedly said “American football is just straight guys reenacting gay porn” while she was giving a speech at the Thursday (July 2) rehearsal for Taylor and Travis Kelce‘s big Madison Square Garden wedding.
On Monday (July 7), Lena uploaded an Instagram carousel featuring photos of her from the event and it included the following caption: “Available going forward for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and sweet sixteens (gay ones). I love both my husbands and I love love.”
Her pics also included photos of her with friends and her husband Luis Felber, plus her production company Good Thing Going co-founder Michael P. Cohen and stars like Andrew Scott and Zadie Smith.
The initial Daily Mail report about Lena‘s supposed toast claimed her alleged joke received “gasps and laughs” from the many attendees, many of whom were NFL stars themselves.
Simone Biles is also talking about Taylor‘s wedding, namely by addressing those who didn’t know she and the singer were friends. She clapped back at one follower who posed a question about their friendship on her Instagram. Read what she said here.
