Lexi Minetree and June Diane Raphael are filming Elle season 2!
The two actresses were spotted filming scenes for the second season on Monday (June 22) in Uptown Manhattan in New York. They appeared to be filming in front of the NBC News building, or a building made to look like that.
Actress and director Shiri Appleby was also on set and appeared to be directing the episode they were filming.
For their scenes, Elle was, of course, dressed in a pink ensemble and she accessorized with a cute taxi cab purse. June wore more formal attire in a long cream-colored coat with matching white pumps.
The Legally Blonde prequel series hasn’t even premiered yet on Prime Video, but Amazon already greenlit a second season. Lexi plays a young version of Reese Witherspoon‘s character from the beloved 2001 movie, while June is playing Elle’s mom, Eva Woods.
Elle also features stars Tom Everett Scott, Chandler Kinney, Jacob Moskovitz, Gabrielle Policano, and Zac Looker, though it’s hard to say exactly who will be returning next season when the first one hasn’t yet debuted!
Earlier this month, the original cast of Legally Blonde reunited for the film’s 25th anniversary at a special “Elle’s World” pop-up to promote the upcoming series premiere.
Elle is set to debut exclusively on Prime Video on July 1. Watch the trailer!
