Maxton Hall fans finally have a major update about the show’s final chapter!
Prime Video announced during its inaugural Obsessed Fest fan event in Los Angeles on Saturday (June 27) that Maxton Hall – The World Between Us will return for its third and final season in December 2026, as revealed by star Damian Hardung in this video clip posted to Instagram!
An exact premiere day has not been revealed yet, but Prime Video confirmed that all six episodes of season 3 will be released that month.
The German-language romance drama stars Harriet Herbig-Matten as Ruby Bell and Damian as James Beaufort. The series follows Ruby, a scholarship student at the elite Maxton Hall College, and James, a wealthy heir whose world collides with hers after she discovers a major secret.
Season 3 will serve as the final chapter of Ruby and James’ story and is based on Save Us, the third book in Mona Kasten‘s bestselling trilogy. Prime Video’s official season 3 description teases that Ruby has been suspended from Maxton Hall College, putting her Oxford dream at risk, while she and James work together to prove her innocence.

Prime Video also noted that Maxton Hall is its most successful international Original series, making the final season a major release for the streamer.
There is no full season 3 trailer yet, but fans can catch up on the first two seasons now on Prime Video before the final episodes arrives in December 2026.
