The acting nominees from Ragtime have arrived at the 2026 Tony Awards!
The event, which took place on Sunday (June 7) live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, is meant to celebrate Broadway’s best shows from the past year.
The Broadway musical revival of Ragtime, which received 11 nominations, saw its acting nominees, Joshua Henry, Brandon Uranowitz, Nichelle Lewis, Caissie Levy, and Ben Levi Ross, walk the red carpet separately. Joshua walked the red carpet with his wife Cathryn Stringer. Brandon walked with his husband Zachary Prince. Caissie walked with her husband David Reiser.
The classic musical is the adaptation of E. L. Doctorow’s classic novel that follows three fictional families in pursuit of the American Dream at the dawn of the 20th Century: Black pianist Coalhouse Walker, Jr. (Henry) and his beloved Sarah (Lewis), Jewish immigrant Tateh (Uranowitz) and his little girl, and a wealthy white family led by matriarch Mother (Levy). All grasping for the same dream, if only they can hold onto it.
The acclaimed revival production, which was originally produced at New York City Center in 2024, was scheduled to close in January 2026. The run was later extended through June 2026. Now, another extension has been announced with tickets on sale through August 2, 2026.
