I finished The Long Vacation and I can’t stop thinking about it! They don’t make romance dramas like that anymore. It was so unique and real and the leads had such chemistry. Sigh. I also found out that Netflix chopped up the episodes weirdly (yeah, I’ve seen that before, sadly) and had to remove a lot of the original music, hence why they were at a Ben Folds Five concert and I didn’t actually hear Ben Folds Five. They also took out a cute moment and voiceover from the final ep and now I’m like, what else did I miss??
In non-Asian drama related news, I was pleasantly surprised by the Off Campus series. It definitely had some squee-worthy moments. I also really love the changes they made, minus a bafflingly unrealistic plot twist, especially to make the main male characters more likeable. Granted, I am not the biggest fan of the books. Anyway, I am especially looking forward to Logan’s season now.
Unrelated to squeeing, but I am caught up in the Perfect Crown drama and have never missed the fanwall more. See you all on Friday, I guess?
