The 2026 Met Gala, hosted by Vogue and Anna Wintour, took place on Monday night (May 4) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
If you are not aware, the Met Gala is the biggest night in fashion every year. The gala celebrated the Met’s Costume Art exhibition, which “explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met’s extensive collection.” The dress code this year was “Fashion is Art” and the co-chairs for the gala were Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and the former Vogue editor-in-chief.
There are some major rules that guests must follow while at the event, and two were broken this year.
