Jessica Alba is the latest star to join the upcoming 13 Going on 30!
The 45-year-old actress has been added to the cast in an unknown role, according to Deadline.
Her character details and the movie’s plot are being kept under wraps at this time. She reunites with Netflix after previously starring in and executive producing Trigger Warning on the streamer.
Jessica did confirm her casting, by sharing the news on Instagram.
“One of those movies that truly never gets old … Thrilled to be part of reimagining such an iconic film alongside an incredible cast and creative team,” she captioned a post.
She joins previously announced cast members Logan Lerman and Emily Bader in leading roles, as well as Adeline Rudolph.
Emily reunites with her People We Meet on Vacation director Brett Haley, who will helm 13 Going on 30, from a script by Hannah Marks.
Original 13 Going on 30 star Jennifer Garner is serving as an executive producer.
Here’s the synopsis of the OG film: Jenna Rink (Christa B Allen) wishes she could just grow up after being humiliated at her 13th birthday party — only to wake up as a 30-year-old fashion magazine editor (Garner).
