Adeline Rudolph is the latest star to join the cast of the 13 Going on 30 reboot!
On Thursday (June 18), Deadline revealed that the 31-year-old Hong Kong-born British actress will be appearing Netflix’s upcoming reboot of the beloved 2004 rom-com.
Adeline confirmed her casting on Instagram, writing, “13 year old me is screaming. Excited for this next journey with the Netflix fam.”

If you didn’t know, Adeline began her career in modeling before making her acting debut in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She has since appeared in the Hellboy: The Crooked Man, the CW series Riverdale, the Netflix adaption of Resident Evil, and she currently stars at Kitana in Mortal Kombat II.

The upcoming reboot was first announced back in March when it was also revealed that People We Meet on Vacation‘s Emily Bader and We Were the Lucky Ones‘ Logan Lerman will be starring in the project.
As of right now, plot details are being kept under wraps.
Jennifer Garner – who starred in the original 13 Going on 30 movie – will be executive producing the reboot.
Here’s the synopsis of the OG film: Jenna Rink wishes she could just grow up after being humiliated at her 13th birthday party — only to wake up as a 30-year-old fashion magazine editor.
Production for the reboot is scheduled to kick off in Los Angeles later this month.
By the way, this is not the only 13 Going on 30 project in development!
