Ahn Bo-hyun teams up with Jung Eun-chae in Flex x Cop 2

SBS’s crime-action Flex x Cop 2 introduces “the richest way to catch evil” with chaebol cop Ahn Bo-hyun (Spring Fever) and his new team leader Jung Eun-chae (Honour). With brand new posters and a teaser, the second season boasts bigger action and catharsis as its titular hero solves crimes while flexing his wealth.
Jin Yi-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun) is very rich — like has a private jet with his face plastered on it, rich. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Yi-soo uses his privilege to his advantage in his detective work. Sometimes that means telling bad guy Heo Sung-tae (Fifties Professionals) that he owns the place or getting recognized by Joo Hyun-young (Ms. Incognito) as the handsome chaebol.
Yi-soo even chases suspects in his sports car and assures team leader Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-chae) that his vehicle is much more expensive. Surprisingly, the longer they work together, the more our rich cop and team leader hit it off as they realize their chemistry in the field. Hye-ra even praises Yi-soo’s acting skills, which he takes with as much humility as you would expect (read: none).
Amongst the many special appearances and supporting cast, the teaser also shows Jung Chae-yeon (Beyond the Bar) brandishing a gun and threatening to kill someone once they are released. The scene then cuts to our two leads, and Hye-ra comments on not wanting to date because of issues like that. When Yi-soo jokes that it is more like she can’t, Hye-ra motions to her face and reminds him that it is not a skill issue. In addition, Yoo Seung-ho (The Deal) appears as fellow chaebol Yoo Sung-won, and while he greets Yi-soo as his hyung, he seems to be firmly on the opposite side of the law from our hero.
Premiering August 7 in the Friday-Saturday slot following Agent Kim Reactivated, SBS’s Flex x Cop 2 is directed by PD Kim Jae-hong (Flex x Cop) and writer Kim Ba-da (My Name) who both worked on the first season.
