Fans will need to wait a little longer to purchase tickets to see Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey‘s Sunday in the Park With George revival.
Sales are being delayed for the upcoming London staging, but it’s still going forward as scheduled for Summer 2027.
Producers are waiting for Ariana to finish her Eternal Sunshine Tour, concluding in September, before putting tickets on sale, Variety reported Wednesday (July 15). The tickets were originally set to go on sale in May.
A source told the publication that tickets “are expected to go on-sale in the autumn, after her tour comes to an end.”
Auditions for the other roles are said to be taking place this summer for the show to be held at Barbican Centre in London, possibly starting in June 2027.
If you don’t know, the musical follows painter Georges Seurat as he meticulously works on his masterpiece, “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte,” while navigating his complicated relationship with his lover Dot. The second act of the musical later shifts to his great-grandson, George, exploring how art, love, and creative legacy echo across generations, with Dot now aged to be elderly.
Ariana will play Dot and Marie, and Jonathan will star as George Seurat.
Coming up later this year, Ariana is also set to release her new album petal, and she’s starring in the new movie Focker-In-Law!
