Blake Lively is seeking money from Justin Baldoni for the costs associated with her lawyers, as well as the litigation expenses she says she endured during the It Ends with Us legal case.
Here’s what happened in the It Ends with Us legal case
The public legal drama began back in December 2024 when Blake accused Justin of sexual harassment and retaliation stemming from production of the movie. Justin denied the allegations and later filed a $400 million lawsuit. In June 2025, the suit was dismissed in it’s entirety. In May 2026, it was revealed that a settlement had been reached between them.
Then, earlier this month, a federal judge ruled that Blake was entitled to attorneys’ fees and litigation costs in her battle against the 42-year-old actor/director.
Now, the exact amount that Blake Lively wants from Justin Baldoni has been revealed
A new filing on Monday (June 29) indicates that Blake is seeking $8,035,040.88 in both lawyer fees and litigation-associated costs.
Broken down, she specifically wants $7,495,526.87 in attorneys’ fees and $539,514.01 for the litigation, which totals the above $8 million number.
The legal documents explained that, due to the high profile nature of this case, the costs were driven up with “significant press attention, with thousands of indexed and syndicated media articles,” plus over 7,000 documents from the extensive discovery.
Justin‘s team has until July 13 to now respond, People reports. After this time, the judge will make his determination.
