Bob the Drag Queen, Monet X Change Sign Libsyn Podcast Deal Sibling Rivalry

Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change have signed a multi-year partnership with Liberated Syndication Inc. (Libsyn) to host, distribute and monetize their hit comedy podcast, Sibling Rivalry, across both audio and video, The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively announce.

Libsyn will exclusively host and monetize the weekly show hosted by the RuPaul’s Drag Race alumnus, connecting premium advertisers with an audience of comedy fans, pop culture enthusiasts, LGBTQ consumers and trend-conscious viewers who tune into the beloved podcast week after week.

“I am so excited to be joining the Libsyn network,” Monét tells THR. “Bob and I are approaching almost a decade of the podcast. We’re so grateful to the millions of you who’ve tuned into the podcast to indulge in our ridiculosity, and we’re so excited to make more memories at Libsyn.”

Bob added, “We are entering a new era for Sibling Rivalry. I’m so excited for you all to see what me and my bestie have in store.”

Launched in 2018, Sibling Rivalry has emerged as one of the most respected podcasts in the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe. Bob and Monét host various series on the pod, including “Sibling Watchery,” where they review new episodes of Drag Race and the All Stars spinoff; “Anything You Can Do,” where Bob and Monet compete against one another and see who can do a task better; and “Sibling Advicery,” where they offer advice to members of their Patreons.

“The world’s leading creators — including Bob the Drag Queen & Monét X Change, as well as Daniel Tosh, Dan Harris, Mehdi Hasan, Nick Viall and Crystal Minkoff & Cynthia Bailey — are choosing Libsyn because they want independence, audience ownership, and world-class monetization without sacrificing creative control,” Stephen Perlstein, senior vp of business development at Libsyn, said in a statement shared with THR. “We believe creators deserve to control their content and own their audience. Our role is to provide the infrastructure, distribution, and monetization that help them grow on their terms. Whether creators are publishing audio, video, or both, Libsyn gives them one platform to distribute everywhere, monetize everywhere, and maintain direct relationships with their fans.”

Bob and Monét have both competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race, cementing themselves as standouts from the franchise. Bob won RuPaul’s Drag Race season eight, and went on to lead HBO’s We’re Here for three seasons; tour around the globe with Madonna on her Celebration Tour; release the debut novel Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert; launch production company Purse First Studios; and star in Broadway’s Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

Monét competed on season 10 of Drag Race, where she was named Miss Congeniality, going on to snatch the crown on season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. She placed second runner-up on the coveted all-winners season. Elsewhere, her one-woman comedy show, Life Be Lifin’, was named a Playbill Pick at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; she lent her talents as a classically trained opera singer to Opera Colorado, Minnesota Opera and Lincoln Center; and serves as a co-host of RE!CAP on E! Network.

Separately, Bob and Monét have both appeared on Peacock’s Emmy-winning hit The Traitors.

Sibling Rivalry won a GLAAD Media Award for outstanding podcast in 2023 and the 2023 Webby People’s Voice Award for podcasts (diversity, equity and inclusion).

A logline for the pod reads, “Whether discussing drag culture, celebrity feuds, internet obsessions, or deeply specific topics like bidets, robots, and hypothetical life dilemmas, Bob and Monét transform everyday conversations into laugh-out-loud entertainment. Sometimes the show is audio-only, sometimes it expands into special video episodes on YouTube — but one thing remains consistent: it’s always funny. The result is a show that blends humor, authenticity, and cultural relevance in a way that keeps audiences coming back and actively engaging across platforms.”

Sibling Rivalry was represented for the deal by UTA and the law offices of Brett Green.

The partnership leverages Libsyn Ads advanced solutions, including Host-Read (available for episodic and simulcast formats), programmatic Automatic Podcast Ads and Integrated Brand Opportunities created to authentically resonate with Sibling Rivalry‘s comedy-loving, pop culture-obsessed, and highly engaged audience.
