Donald Trump gave Nicki Minaj a very public shoutout during a White House Rose Garden luncheon on Monday (July 6).
While speaking at the event, the 80-year-old President praised the 43-year-old rapper in front of the crowd, saying, “We also have a woman that is so respected and so hot and so great and such a great friend of, I don’t say conservative, I say of common sense.”
“She’s a fantastic person and she’s a woman that’s respected by everybody and she’s got real talent: Nicki Minaj,” he continued.
Trump then asked Nicki to “stand up, please,” while calling her “such a great person and respected by everybody.”
He praised her again later in the luncheon, mentioning Nicki while discussing the Small Business Administration
“Nicki Minaj is so incredible. They call it small business, Nicki, but when you add it up, it’s bigger than any back in the world, probably, right?” Trump said. “It’s not small business, but she’s done fantastically and I appreciate it.”
Afterward, Nicki updated fans on her visit and used the hashtag “WhiteHouseBarbie” across her posts.
She shared a video from the garden party while wearing Versace, writing, “#WhiteHouseBarbie #VersaceTingz.”
Nicki also later posed near a portrait of Trump in the White House and took a photo with him at his desk in the Oval Office.
The “Super Freaky Girl” rapper also recently celebrated Trump‘s 80th birthday with several surprising AI-generated images.
