Drake just lost his million dollar bet.
The 39-year-old ICEMAN entertainer publicized a $1 million bet that Conor McGregor would beat Max Holloway at UFC 329 on Saturday (July 11).
“THE MAC IS BACK?!?!?? The proper twelve drinking, tailored suit wearing, Lambo Yacht riding man with the Dubai tan that once had both belts in both hands…Say less,” he captioned the post on social media just before the fight.
Conor‘s first UFC fight in five years resulted in a leg injury in the beginning of Round 1. He could not keep going, and the referee waived the fight.
The official result was a Max Holloway victory in just 69 seconds.
“I was so sharp and so ready for this fight I cannot believe what has happened. The talk of me being off while walking in to the fight is nonsense. I was calm, ready, and confident. I am in shock what has taken place. The devil is literally staring at me right in front of my face here. I am not engaging. I will be at church tomorrow. I will overcome this. I will not be deterred. I will return,” Conor wrote afterward.
