Jung Hae-in and Ha-young are tangled in Our Sticky Love

Netflix’s newest romantic comedy Our Sticky Love teases an unconventional romance between leads Ha-young (Teach You a Lesson) and Jung Hae-in (Love Next Door) as they get “sweetly tangled, hopelessly stuck” with each other.
The trailer opens with Go Eun-sae (Ha-young) — if that’s really her name — sitting in a hospital gown with every single finger wrapped up in a ridiculous amount of gauze. She remembers nothing about herself, and doctor Choi Dae-hoon (Agent Kim Reactivated) tells her that she has amnesia. According to the doctor, people usually go “who are you?” at this stage, so Eun-sae follows suit with a prompt, “Who are you?”
Inside an old boxing gym, Jeon Bae-soo (The Murky Stream) tells Jung Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in) that the safest place for Eun-sae at the moment would be by his side, and thus, a lie is born. Claiming to be her boyfriend, Tae-ha brings Eun-sae to his small town, but our amnesiac heroine has a hard time adjusting to the locals as she clashes with residents Kim Young-ok (Typhoon Family) and Jang Hye-jin (Love Me).
While Tae-ha goes around cleaning up after his fake girlfriend, he explains to his neighbors that Eun-sae is still recovering from her accident and is a good person deep down. His words display more affection than you would expect from a fake boyfriend, and then he makes our heroine’s heart flutter by saying everything about her is pretty. Soon, their relationship becomes the talk of the town as they become “irritatingly inseparable.”
Though Eun-sae was hesitant about Tae-ha at first, she comes around to the idea of them dating, but her fake boyfriend is hiding more than one secret from her. Even if his intentions are good, the truth might put a damper on their relationship, but until then, romance abounds as things heat up between the pair. Under a shared umbrella, Tae-ha tells Eun-sae to forget about his previous clumsy kiss and goes in for a proper re-do.
The 12-episode romance drops on Netflix August 7 and is directed by PD Kim Jang-han (My Demon, You Raise Me Up) and written by Mo Ji-hye (You Raise Me Up).
