Lena Headey is opening up about the Red, White & Royal Blue sequel!
The 52-year-old actress joined the cast of Red, White & Royal Wedding as Princess Catherine, the mother of Nicholas Galitzine‘s Prince Henry.
In a recent interview, Lena teased what we can expect from her character and when the movie may come out!
“It was really fun and had a great, great cast. I felt very lucky to be joining a warm, nutsy band of people. And Catherine is a little uptight, I would say, and quite funny,” she told ScreenRant.
She also teased that the movie, which wrapped filming in early March, could be released in a few months!
“I think [the film will be released in 2026],” Lena said. “Yeah, I think end of the year.”
Not much is known about the plot of the movie, other than there is a wedding!
Red, White & Royal Wedding is being directed by Jamie Babbit, with a script by the first movie’s director Matthew Lopez, along with Casey McQuiston and Gemma Burgess.
“Red, White & Royal Blue” book author Casey McQuiston recently teased “more domesticity” and a “spicier” sequel!
