Jennifer Pedranti has revealed that one of her kids was involved in starting a brush fire in Southern California.
On Thursday (July 9), the 49-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star took to her Instagram Story to confirm that her son and several other kids were involved in starting Tuesday’s seven-acre blaze in the hills of Ladera Ranch.
“I would like to clear up the rumblings of my son having involvement in the Ladera Ranch fire,” Jennifer began. “He and others were involved. My ex husband and myself take this very serious. This behavior is unacceptable and we are deeply sorry to our community. This is a tough learning moment for our son and our family.”
“We were so thankful there was no property damage and nobody was hurt,” she continued. “The fire and police were absolutely amazing and gave these boys a lesson they will never forget. There were no arrests made, but consequences for actions are being put into place. He will be taking a fire safety course to make sure a mistake like this never happens again. There are consequences within our family and we will make sure our son learns from this accident.”
Jennifer and her ex-husband Will Pedranti share five children – Harrison, Dawson, Greyson, Dominic, and Everleigh. She did not name which son was involved in the incident.
TMZ reports that Jennifer and her kids used to live in the Ladera Ranch neighborhood, but relocated about a year ago.
