Shawn Mendes is soaking up the sun at the beach.
The 27-year-old “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” singer went for a stroll along the shore as he enjoyed a day at São Conrado Beach on Thursday afternoon (July 16) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Shawn showed off his fit physique as he went shirtless while wearing a pair of black shorts and a baseball hat.
After spending some time at the beach, Shawn put on a black tank shirt before continuing on with his day.
Earlier in the week, Shawn was photographed sharing some sweet PDA with girlfriend Bruna Marquezine as they enjoyed a day out together in Rio.
If you didn’t know, Shawn and the 30-year-old Brazilian actress/model have been dating for several months after they first sparked romance rumors in December 2025.
Bruna recently starred in the movie Velhos Bandidos, which released in March, and she has a couple more projects in the works.
She will reprise her role as Bia Martins in the upcoming second season of Amor da Minha Vida (Benefits with Friends) on Disney+. She will also appear in the series Véspera.
In an interview from 2024, Shawn revealed that he briefly considered pursuing a different career other than music after cancelling his Wonder Tour in 2022 to focus on his mental health.
