Timothee Chalamet joined the New York Knicks players to celebrate their big win on Saturday night (June 13) at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The 30-year-old actor is a born and raised New Yorker, and has been an avid Knicks fan for years, often seen sitting courtside at games.

He was seen in NYC attending game three and game four of the finals, and even wore matching outfits with girlfriend Kylie Jenner for the fourth game.

Timothee traveled to Texas this weekend to attend game five of the 2026 NBA Finals, where the Knicks defeated the Spurs to win their NBA championship in 53 years.

After the game, Timothee was seen celebrating the big win on the court with many other fans.

He even joined shooting guard Mikal Bridges as they posed for photos together while Timothee held up a New York Post cover calling the Knicks “Champs!”

On the court, Timothee told SportsCenter, “Way rather this than the Oscars! Come on baby!”

He has been nominated for the Best Actor award at the Oscars three times in his career so far.

Later, the actor joined the team in the locker room to continue celebrating, and got champagne sprayed all over him.

“THEY DID IT,” he captioned a video of the moment on his Instagram.

In another video, Timothee says, “I’m not an athlete, usually I have a stunt double to do that.”
