Rosie O’Donnell is looking back at how much money she had saved up when she decided to walk away from her daytime talk show.
If you forgot, the 64-year-old comedian hosted The Rosie O’Donnell Show for six seasons from 1996 to 2002.
In a new interview with Page Six, Rosie said that as soon as she had $100 million saved in the bank, she knew it was time to end her show.
“When I heard that [number], I thought, ‘Okay, now I’m done,’” Rosie recalled. “And everyone was like, ‘Why are you leaving?’”
Rosie went on to say that she realized she wanted to spend more time with her kids the moment she “had enough money to take care of everyone in my life, philanthropy and strangers.”

The Emmy winner shares four oldest children – Parker, 31, Chelsea, 28, Blake, 26, and Vivienne, 23 — with her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter. She also shares 13-year-old Clay with her late ex-wife Michelle Rounds.
“I wanted to be at their softball games,” she emphasized. “I wanted to be at school plays.”
Rosie also recalled turning down an alleged $100 million offer from Warner Bros. to continue hosting her talk show for two more years.
“They were like, ‘Why would you say no?’ ” she recounted. “I was like, ‘Because I already have that money, and if I think I need more, something’s wrong with me.’ ”
“I don’t get the billionaires,” Rosie added. “I don’t get how people only measure their life in money, not what they can do for other people.”
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Rosie revealed if she would ever consider returning to The View.
