Glen Powell is bringing his movie Hit Man back in a different way!

The 37-year-old actor’s 2024 Netflix film is being developed into a television show for the streamer, according to Deadline.

You’re the Worst creator Stephen Falk is writing the new TV series, with Glen, who co-wrote, directed and produced the movie, will executive produce the possible new series, alongside co-writer Richard Linklater.

While exact details about the TV show are under wraps, it’s likely to follow the same general plot as the movie.

Here’s the Hit Man movie synopsis: Inspired by an unbelievable true story, a strait-laced professor discovers his hidden talent as a fake hit man. He meets his match in a client who steals his heart and ignites a powder keg of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities.

This would mark the second TV show Glen has produced, following his Hulu comedy Chad Powers, which is set to return for a second season.

If you missed it, Glen is also starring an upcoming comedy movie, The Comeback King, which he co-wrote with Judd Apatow. The two are also producing with Glen‘s Barnstorm producing partner Dan Cohen.

The movie is currently set for a February 2027 theatrical release.
