Zendaya‘s latest red carpet look had quite the journey before it made it to London.
The 29-year-old actress attended the world premiere of Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey on Monday (July 6), wearing a dramatic Schiaparelli gown that had just appeared on the runway in Paris earlier that day.
Her longtime stylist Law Roach revealed the behind-the-scenes scramble while speaking to French creator Elias Medini, also known as Lyas, at the Schiaprelli show during Paris Haute Couture Week.
He uploaded a video to Instagram showing Law and then turning to point at a model wearing the dress, saying, “You chose this look for a premiere tonight.”
“Yes, I flew in last night to come to the show; I have a private jet waiting for me,” Law said with a laugh.
The look featured a porcelain-effect molded bustier, mirrored fringe and dramatic white-to-mirror detailing, per the press release. Zendaya completed the outfit with Chopard jewelry, including a 12.37-carat diamond necklace and diamond studs, bringing the full diamond total to more than 88 carts.
Zendaya plays Athena in The Odyssey, while her husband Tom Holland stars as Telemachus.
