Mel C is now a married woman!
The 52-year-old Spice Girls singer, aka Sporty Spice, married Australian model Chris Dingwall in an intimate countryside wedding on Saturday (July 18) at the Country House Cumbria in England.
Mel‘s 17-year-old daughter Scarlett, whom she shares with property developer Thomas Starr, acted as her bridesmaid, according to The Daily Mail.
Spice Girls members Emma Bunton, Mel B, and Geri Halliwell were all in attendance. Victoria Beckham wasn’t able to attend the event as she’s been in the United States with husband David Beckham for the 2026 World Cup.
While she wasn’t able to attend the event, Victoria did design Mel‘s wedding dress.
“It was a gift from Victoria, they are really close. Victoria would have loved to have been there if she could,” one source shared as another added, “It was her great pleasure to make the dress for Mel.”
A source told the outlet that the couple wanted an “intimate” wedding with just their closest family and friends.
“Mel and Chris wanted an understated wedding, she didn’t want a big flashy day but something smaller and very classy,” the insider shared. “Mel swore she would never get married, having a big do wasn’t really for her.”
“It is the perfect venue for them, totally out of the way but in the most beautiful place and everyone had the most fantastic time,” the source added.
Mel first meet Chris in 2013 on the exclusive dating app Raya. Last summer, the two showed off their fit physiques while on vacation in Ibiza.
